Why start JoySpeech?

With limited parent family blogs in Australia, I hope JoySpeech can guide to support especially wonderful parents/careers on children's development. By providing Australian based Information, I hope JoySpeech can be a great source for our Australian audiences especially. Parents are extremely crucial members of a child’s life. They are models to children where all their foundational knowledge comes from. Quality parental input facilitates child development.

JoySpeech also promotes speech pathology. Little is speech pathologist valued when compared to doctors, I always consider speech pathology the invisible man in the field. How often do you hear others mention ‘speech pathologist’? What speech pathologists do might not be as captivating as a professional surgeon, but still big enough to change one’s life dramatically. I hope to spread the message of speech-language disorders to the world. Let’s all be educated and help make the world even better.

JoySpeech is also for my own interest. I turned down an internship offer as a journalist due to my studies, I have always been fond of writing, and what’s better than having the best of both worlds?  I could document what I have learned along my speech pathology journey. JoySpeech as well enables me to branch out and meet all wonderful people meanwhile educating myself and helping anyone in need.
